Somu Veerraju, state president of the Andhra Pradesh BJP, stated that his party likes to move forward without the assistance of a formal alliance with the TDP or YSRCP. In an interview with a media outlet, Somu Veerraju stated that their party is conducting political activities in the state to establish the government. He has denounced family politics and made it known that they are working along with Jana Sena. According to him, the BJP state wing supports the efforts made by the party's top command to meet with celebrities from a variety of industries. When asked if Jr. NTR will be campaigning for party in both Telugu States, BJP State President responded that the high command would handle this matter. He has also responded by saying that regardless of whether party is in power, his party will vehemently condemn the atrocities occurring in the state.
