Banswada: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman gave a strong counter to Telangana Health Minister T Harish Rao's remarks over the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Addressing the gathering, Minister Nirmala Sitaraman stated that at least 2000 farmers committed suicide in Telangana from 2017 to 2019. She further questioned why the farmers in Telangana committed suicide if the state government is pro-farmer. She stated that a gross injustice is being done to the farmers. Nirmala Sitaraman said that project oustees are facing severe problems in the state as they didn't receive compensation and they have not been rehabilitated properly.
