PV Sindhu, an Indian shuttler and two-time Olympian who recently won her first gold medal at the Commonwealth Games, paid a courtesy call on RK Roja, the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Youth Advancement, on Saturday. Later, the Minister and her family joined PV Sindhu and her parents for lunch at the city's Novotel. In winning the first gold medal in the singles competition at the Commonwealth Games, Sindhu made the entire nation happy, and RK Roja wished her further success. The Minister also posted pictures of her family with PV Sindhu on Twitter. In the badminton women's singles event final, PV Sindhu defeated Michelle Li of Canada to win her first gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.
