The release of 11 murder and r*pe prisoners in the Gujarat case of Bilkis Bano was criticised by Industries and IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao(KTR). The Telangana Minister stated, "Political parties frequently make promises of development, security, and welfare benefits in an effort to win elections. R*pists and killers of infants and pregnant mothers are now being released! These transgressions of conduct, omission, and remission will not go unpunished. Karma comes back to hit you. In a letter to Chief Justice of India NV Ramana, Telangana MLC K Kavitha referred to the Bilkis Bano case and the judgement of the case in the letter and pleaded with him to step in and provide the victim with justice.
