On Wednesday, Tollywood star and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna launched NTR Arogya Ratham for residents of Hindupur constituency in Satya Sai district. The MLA personally spent Rs 40 lakh of his own to customise a vehicle in the manner of a 108 ambulance. The van is equipped with all necessary medical supplies and test kits. Only images of Balakrishna and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao were imprinted on the vehicle. However, the initiative that MLA Balakrishna held without the image of a party chief Chandrababu on the vehicle has become a political discussion Balakrishna won the Hindupur constituency for a second term as an MLA.
