The SSLV, co-passenger satellite known as 'AzaadiSAT,' which included 75 payloads built by 750 students from 75 rural government schools across India, was launched to coincide with the nation's celebrations of 'Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.' The Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-02) was injected into both Small Satellite Launch Vehicles (SSLV-D1), according to ISRO Chairman S Somanath on Sunday, however the "orbit reached was less than expected, which makes it unstable." He added that data loss occurred on the SSLV-D1 during the mission's final stages. The space agency also stated that they would study the results and proceed accordingly very shortly.
