Home Minister Taneti Vanitha reacts over online Loan Apps harassment
Thaneti Vanitha, the home minister for Andhra Pradesh, stated that she will discuss the loan app harassment issue with chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Home Minister in an interview with a media channel, said that operators of loan apps will face stern punishment. The home minister asserted that by collecting specific mobile data, even public representatives are subjected to harassment in the name of loans.
In response to a question, the Home Minister said that a specific cyber wing is in place to handle cybercrime.
'The police would take strong measures against anybody engaging in cybercrime,' according to the AP DGP.
