Despite having ordered a laptop for his father Shyam Sundar Prasad from Amazon, Saurav Suman, a Delhi-based employee, instead received a text copy and some bricks when the item was delivered to his Patna home. He allegedly paid a online payment of 34,600 rupees. The Amazon customer service department has asked for some time to look into the situation and treat the consumer fairly. The order was given to Sunitha, the mother of Saurav Suman, who reportedly thought it was too lenient. She was astonished to see that the parcel included a text book and two bricks when she opened it by recording it. Following a phone call with Amazon Customer Care, they have promised to act fairly.
