Suspected monkeypox case reported in Guntur
Guntur: Tension gripped work among the residents of Guntur after a boy was admitted to GGH due to suspected monkeypox. According to the reports, an 8-year-old boy belonging to Odisha arrived in Palnadu for livelihood. The boy got admitted to Guntur GGH after he suffered blisters on his boy and is undergoing treatment in a special ward.
Doctors suspected it as monkeypox and sent the boy's samples to Gandhi Hospital. It is known that monkeypox cases were reported in New Delhi and Kerala and triggered panic among the locals. Doctors said that monkeypox is not dangerous as coronavirus.
