Between the governing BJP and the opposition, a full-fledged 'Rashtrapatni' vs. 'Sonia heckled' war has broken out. Mahua Moitra, a TMC MP, spoke out in favour of Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday, claiming that allegations that she intimidated BJP lawmakers in the Lok Sabha were untrue and adding that the Congress interim Chief was surrounded and verbally insulted pack-wolf style. After the incident at the Lok Sabha, Moitra told the media that it appeared as though a band of hyenas was attacking the senior Congress leader from the BJP. The TMC lawmaker described the sequence of events and how BJP MPs encircled Sonia Gandhi.
