After a commotion, a notice issued to a Madhya Pradesh government officer for providing cold and substandard quality tea to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Khajuraho Airport in the Chhatarpur district was withdrawn. The issue began when a government employee was given a show-cause notice by the SDM on July 12 for allegedly giving the Chief Minister cold tea at Khajuraho Airport. Rakesh Kanhua, a junior supply officer, was questioned about a breach of procedure in VIP duty. The SDM's notice has been cancelled by the district collector, nevertheless. Netizens began disseminating the notification to criticise the CM, which led to the revocation. The Chief Minister received criticism from Congress for what they called high-handedness.
