Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra continued his impressive form on Thursday, placing second in the Stockholm Diamond League 2022 in Sweden with a throw of 89.94 metres. The Javelin ace made his first appearance in Diamond League competition in 4 years, and he did it in style, breaking his own national mark twice in one month. Anderson Peters of Grenada, the current world champion, won the competition with a best throw of 90.31 metres, placing Chopra in second place. The Indian javelin ace improved upon his personal best of 89.30m, established earlier this month at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland, by just six centimetres.
