In the midst of violent incidents around the country, the Center has defended the Agneepath plan. The Agneepath scheme, according to Home Minister Amit Shah, will provide the youth with a bright future, including the possibility to serve in the armed forces. He added on Twitter that the national government's decision to raise the maximum age from 21 to 23 years will assist a huge number of youth. Prime Minister Modi recognised the youth concern and decided to waive the two-year age limit, according to the Home Minister. The scheme was also praised by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. He claimed that the name Agniveer will bring the youth fame for the entire lives. According to Rajnath, Agneepath provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with the national defence forces.
