Know about advanced technology features of India's first high tech private train
On June 14, India's first-ever private train service launched from Coimbatore under the Bharat Gaurav initiative. The train began its journey from Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore North to Maharashtra's Shirdi.
The train with high advance means of technology embedded in it will stop at various historical sites along the way. It has a capacity of 1500 passengers. The train has a facilities of doctors, housekeeping services, fire control system apart from providing vegetarian meals. Tourist guides will be available to help the passengers.
The train would leave Coimbatore North at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and arrive at Shirdi's Sai Nagar at 7.25 a.m. on Thursdays, according to sources. The train will restart its journey from Sai Nagar on Friday and arrive in Coimbatore North at 12 pm on Saturday after a one-day break.
The train will stop in Tirupur, Erode, Salem Jolarpet, Bangaluru Yelahanka, Dharmavara, Mantralayam Road (5-hour halt), and Wadi before arriving in Shirdi.
