Kakinada: Tension escalated among the residents of Kakinada after the appearance of a tiger over the last few days. It is said that a tiger appeared near Ommangi village in Prathipadu Mandal and triggered panic among the locals and forest officials. According to the reports, the tiger tried to enter a house at Lingamparthi village in Elesawaram Mandalam and the residents of the house found tiger pug marks over the gate. It is learnt that the tiger tried to enter the house by opening the gate. After getting the information, the forest officials rushed to the spot and identified the tiger pug marks around the house.
