The opposition BJP members flocked to the streets to protest against the Telangana government led by CM KCR, alleging that the administration and its police are protecting the accused in a gang r*pe of a minor girl. The accused allegedly washed the Innova car used in the crime in order to destroy the evidence. Irate demonstrators have even set fire to the effigy of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao to express their outrage at the delay in justice. The missing car was discovered in a farm house on the outskirts of Hyderabad, belonging to a woman with connections to a political family.
