On Tuesday, a woman from Bapatla died in a paragliding accident in Florida. Alaparthi Supraja (34), the deceased, was from Mankenivaripalem in Santhamanguluru mandal. Her husband, A Srinivasa Rao, and two children survive her. According to reports, the family had recently relocated from Chicago to Florida. Supraja and her son Akhil were reportedly riding a paraglider at a beach in Florida early Tuesday. The paraglider malfunctioned. Suraja died on the spot, and her son was injured. Supraja's father, former ZPTC member T Srinivasa Rao, has disclosed the heartbreaking incident. A pall of gloom descended Mankenivaripalem village.
