On behalf of the state government, Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao hosted an Iftar party. Ministers Mahmood Ali, Thalassani Srinivas Yadav, Satyavati Rathore, Koppula Ishwar, MLAs, MLCs, and other Muslim elders attended the ceremony. AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi was also in attendance. In his remarks on the occasion, Telangana Chief Minister KCR wished the whole Muslim community, not just in the state, but across the country. KCR stated that he was pleased that the government had done good work in various spheres over the last seven and a half years and set an example for other states in the country. KCR said that Telangana is the only state that has 24 hour quality power. He has slammed the opponents, claiming that they strive to harm them but are unable to succeed. 'Destructing is a simple operation, but construction requires hard work,' said the CM.
