The third tranche of the YSR Sunna Vaddi scheme was launched by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who came in Ongole on Friday, the 22nd of this month. Addressing a large crowd in Ongole for the third instalment of the zero interest programme to Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy pledged to preserve the interests of state women through welfare measures and other schemes. Taking a direct shot at the former TDP administration led by former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the current CM has presented socio-economic figures from the TDP's prior and current governments. 'In the last 35 months, the YSRCP administration has spent Rs 1,36,694 crore on different social programmes," CM Jagan stated.
