UK PM Boris Johnson spins chakra at Sabarmati ashram

Ahmedabad: During two-days visit to India, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson reached Ahmedabad today and visited Mahatma Gandhi's Ashram in Sabarmati, Gujarat. According to the reports, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Governor Acharya Devvrat received Borish Johnson at Ahmedabad airport and received a grand welcome from airport to hotel. He visited Gandhi's Ashram and tried to spin the wheel 'iconic chakra'.

He wrote in the visitor's book "It is an immense privilege to come to the Ashram of this extraordinary man, and to understand how he mobilised such simple principles of truth and non-violence to change the world for the better."
