Devotees at the Srikalahasti temple were furious as the queues for the new endowment minister stalled for hours. The temple authorities were completely absorbed in serving the Minister (AP Minister). It has slowed down the procedure. Common devotees have lost their temper and chanted slogans such as 'Minister, go back, down... down.' The devotees said that they had to wait in line for hours for the visit, without even being given water to drink. Temple authorities were incensed because they had failed to give the basic essentials to the pilgrims. After seeing the Minister, devotees protested. The Minister approached worshippers in the queue line and tried to calm the situation. Darshan arrangements were then made for the worshippers.
