Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao launched Jamp Pharmaceuticals' first plant in Genome Valley on Tuesday. According to KTR, the Valley remains the most favoured investment destination for enterprises from all over the world. The state's industry minister has said unequivocally that their goal is to increase the state's bio sciences sector to $100 billion by 2030. KTR criticised the lack of collaboration from the centre, no matter how active the state is. According to KTR, the facility would be built with a total investment of Rs 250 crore and will employ approximately 200 employees. "This is definitely a tribute to the overall ecosystem for life sciences in Telangana, as well as the Telangana Government's pro-business policies," he added. 'Hyderabad's top position in biological sciences continues to strengthen,' added KTR.
