A man allegedly attacked two constables with a sharp-edged weapon at the south entrance of Gorakhnath shrine in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur district. According to reports, the man was an IIT graduate who was attempting to force his way into the shrine. The engineer is seen in the video flashing a dagger and shouting right outside the Gorakhnath temple, the headquarters of the Gorakhnath mutt, of which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is the head priest. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh is not dismissing the possibility of a terrorist motive in the incident and has chosen to entrust the investigation to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
