The leaders of the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP continue to spar over Andhra Pradesh's liquor policy and cheap liquor incidents. TDP MP Ram Mohan Reddy claims that the ruling YSRCP has been collecting 'J' tax from the poor while selling them cheap booze. The Srikakulam TDP MP has claimed that liquor enterprises are being set up by adherents of the ruling party in order to increase the state government's revenue. In response, YSRCP MP Margani Bharat chastised the former TDP government for the continual flow of cheap booze and questioned them in comparison to the current situation. Margani Bharat has said that the TDP is engaging in third grade cheap politics.
