YS Sharmila, president of the YSR Telangana party, stated that the party was formed in response to opposition parties' failure to confront Chief Minister KCR and his government in Telangana on contentious matters. She has stated her conviction that the YSR welfare regime would be reinstated if the people of the state support their party. On the 36th day of her Prajaprasthana Padayatra, she arrived in Patimatla, Motkuru Mandal, Yadadri district. She claims that CM KCR, who boasts of doing a lot for farmers, has been chastised for cancelling various programmes put in place by previous governments.
