TDP MLA for Palakollu Nimmala Rama Naidu stated the party's setback in the last election taught them a lesson. The TDP MLA stated his discontent with the current YSRCP administration in an interview with a show named 'Open Heart With RK,' alleging that it is utterly undemocratic. In response to the numerous charges brought against opposition party members, the TDP MLA claimed that the governing party had filed 18 complaints against him between 2019 and now. The former minister admitted to writing down the names of seven or eight persons who annoyed him greatly. In answer to a question, the TDP MLA predicted that the party will win 100-110 seats in the forthcoming election. TDP MLA argues that if the TDP stands with the Jana Sena coalition in polls, it will win more than 150 seats.
