Shyamala Slams Andhra Coalition Over Amaravati Ceremony and Land Allocation
YSRCP spokesperson and anchor Shyamala launched a scathing attack on the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, criticizing its recent governance and decisions. Referring to the Amaravati foundation stone ceremony, Shyamala made a sarcastic remark stating, “It is like getting married again after already being married,” suggesting the event was redundant and politically motivated.

She alleged that the administration has completely deviated from proper governance and has ignored public welfare, focusing instead on unchecked exploitation of resources. In particular, she cited the allocation of approximately ₹3,000 crore worth of 60 acres of government land in Visakhapatnam to a little-known shell company named Ursa. Shyamala claimed that this land was handed over at a nominal rate of 99 paise per acre.

She further alleged that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh were behind this land deal. “Nara Lokesh is the origin, executor, and driving force behind this entire transaction,” Shyamala said, accusing the duo of orchestrating the allotment. She criticized the cabinet’s approval of the deal despite widespread public opposition, calling it a blatant example of governmental overreach.

Shyamala questioned the government’s priorities, stating, “This government, which is unwilling to spend even a single rupee for public welfare schemes, is handing over thousands of crores worth of land to a favorable company. Why does the government have such affection for Ursa?”

She also accused the coalition government of abandoning its pre-election promises, particularly the "Super-6" assurances. According to her, rather than implementing these commitments, the government has instead concentrated on looting opportunities in areas such as sand mining, liquor distribution, fiber network services, land deals, and skill development programs.

Shyamala reiterated that the state administration has gone off-track and that the government is giving priority to plundering resources rather than focusing on the welfare of the people.
