We Are Making Amaravati Farmers Millionaires: Chandrababu
On the occasion of May Day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu participated in a public event held at Atmakur in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district. During the event, he inaugurated 11 MSME parks and made key statements regarding workers and development plans in the state.
Chandrababu Naidu stated that although the government had the potential to earn thousands of crores of rupees through sand mining, it decided to forgo that income in order to promote the construction sector by supplying sand free of cost. He further revealed that the canal legislation had also been repealed as part of this initiative.
He emphasized his government's commitment to the welfare of workers and noted that special 100-bed hospitals are being constructed in Kurnool and Guntur to address their healthcare needs.
Speaking about the construction of the capital city Amaravati, Chandrababu Naidu stated that the primary objective was to create large-scale employment opportunities for the youth of Andhra Pradesh. He recalled that farmers had voluntarily given their land for the capital project and stated that those lands were being developed and a portion returned to the farmers, thereby turning them into millionaires. He added that land values in the capital region have significantly appreciated.
Chandrababu Naidu announced that the government plans to establish one MSME park in each of the 175 Assembly constituencies, resulting in a total of 175 parks across the state. He indirectly criticized the YSR Congress Party by stating that some people were unable to tolerate the ongoing development in the state. He urged party cadres to actively disseminate information about the government’s developmental and welfare programs among the public.
