Rajasthan Royals' 'Pink Promise': Lighting Up Six Homes for Every Six Hit

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals has launched a new social initiative aimed at uplifting underprivileged communities through sustainable energy. As part of their campaign titled "Pink Promise," the franchise has pledged to install solar panels in six homes for every six their players hit during the match against Mumbai Indians, scheduled to take place today at their home ground—Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Rajasthan Royals made the announcement through their official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating, “Today’s match is very special… it is our Pink Promise Game.” The announcement has garnered positive attention from social media users, with many applauding the franchise's effort to combine cricket with a meaningful cause.

So far this season, Rajasthan Royals have played ten matches but managed to win only three. The team currently stands in eighth position on the points table. With only four matches remaining in the league stage, winning all of them is crucial for the team to keep their playoff hopes alive. A loss in today's match would significantly diminish their chances of progressing to the knockout stage.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians are currently in strong form, having secured consecutive wins.
