Everyone in the Party Should Become Like Dhoni: Jagan

(YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has focused his attention on rebuilding the party. As part of this effort, he conducted a crucial meeting today with the party’s district presidents. During the meeting, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy outlined strategies for strengthening the party at the grassroots level and provided guidance on how to function effectively as the opposition.

On this occasion, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the true leadership abilities of individuals emerge while they are in the opposition. "Only when a batsman faces a massive target does his true talent become evident. It is then that he becomes a player beloved by the people. The same principle applies to politics. We prove ourselves through the work we do while in opposition. Through our conduct, we earn respect and enhance our image among the public and within the party. We must be able to win accolades through our performance. Everyone should strive to become like Mahendra Singh Dhoni," he said.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called upon the district presidents to immediately respond to the problems faced by the people in their respective areas and to stand by those affected. He emphasized the need to actively fight against anti-people issues and to conduct party programs vigorously. "We are political leaders. We must not forget that we have dedicated our lives to politics. Under no circumstances should we take a step back. We must not squander the opportunities we have as the opposition," he advised.

He further stated that only by effectively bringing public issues to light at the district level could the party become closer to the people. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy affirmed that their political efforts are driven by the desire to serve the people better once they return to power. Recalling the period after the death of his father, YS Rajasekhara Reddy, he mentioned that he aspired to have his photograph in every home, and with the same spirit, he urged the district presidents to earn public acclaim through their service. He also instructed them to expedite the completion of the party's organizational restructuring.
