Hyderabad: Shocking Killing Discovered in Bank Building Lift

A gruesome incident occurred in Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad, where an unidentified man was brutally murdered and his body abandoned inside an elevator. The incident took place in the building housing the Punjab National Bank’s Himayat Nagar branch.

On Monday morning, bank staff discovered the body inside the elevator upon arriving at the premises, triggering panic and fear. Immediately alerted by the staff, police reached the scene and began collecting evidence. The body was subsequently shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination.

Central Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Shilpavalli visited the crime scene and issued several instructions to the investigating officers. After a preliminary inspection of the body, police suggested that the murder might have stemmed from old personal enmity, describing the nature of the killing as particularly brutal.

Authorities are conducting a comprehensive investigation from multiple angles to identify the victim and track down the assailants. CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is being thoroughly reviewed as part of the ongoing inquiry.
