DSC 2025: AP Education Department Issues Clarification for Married Women
The Andhra Pradesh government officially released the notification for the Mega DSC-2025 recruitment drive on Sunday. According to the announcement from the Department of School Education, a total of 16,347 teacher posts will be filled across the state through this notification.

In a notable development, the Director of School Education, Vijayaramaraju, issued a clarification specifically for married women applicants. He stated that married women candidates must use the surname as mentioned in their official certificate when filling out the application form.

Applicants are allowed to apply for multiple posts within a single application form, based on their eligibility. However, candidates cannot apply for the same post as a local candidate in one district and as a non-local candidate in another.

The Mega DSC has already attracted over 22,000 applications within just two days of opening. Authorities estimate that the number of applications may cross 600,000 before the deadline, considering the overwhelming response.

The application process commenced on Sunday, April 20. Candidates can submit their applications and pay the required fees online until May 15. Model exams are scheduled to begin on May 20, followed by the availability of hall tickets starting May 30. The actual examinations will be conducted from June 6 to July 6.
