16 Women Detained in Hyderabad Pub Raid Over Obscene Dance Allegations
In a surprise operation conducted by the LB Nagar Special Operations Team (SOT), a pub operating in violation of regulations in the Chaitanyapuri Police Station limits was raided. The police apprehended 16 women who were allegedly performing obscene dances, along with the DJ operator, and handed them over to the Chaitanyapuri Police.
Speaking to the media, Chaitanyapuri Circle Inspector Venkateshwar Rao stated that the "Wild Hearts Pub," located in the Green Hills Colony within the jurisdiction of the station, was being run in violation of norms. He explained that the pub was offering free entry to lure customers, exploiting young women, and charging exorbitant amounts from patrons.
The inspector further claimed that the pub management sent women to male guests to perform obscene dances, encouraged excessive alcohol consumption, and subsequently collected inflated bills. He confirmed that 16 women and the DJ operator had been taken into custody. The pub owner, Ramu, and manager, Santosh, are currently absconding. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
