Pawan Kalyan's Son Rescued by Indian Workers Honoured by Singapore Government
The Singapore government has presented the 'Life Saver' award to a group of Indian workers who rescued children, including Mark Shankar, the son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, during a fire accident at a school in Singapore on April 8.

According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the workers were honoured for risking their own lives to save the children. The force stated that the award was in recognition of their bravery and selflessness during the emergency.

Recounting the incident, the workers said that when they arrived at the scene, they saw children screaming in fear inside the room. Some children even attempted to jump from the third floor, the workers stated. They explained that they convinced the children not to jump and subsequently managed to rescue them and bring them down safely. However, they expressed regret that they were unable to save one of the children who lost their life in the incident.

Following news of the accident, Pawan Kalyan and his wife immediately travelled to Singapore. After receiving treatment and recovering, their son Mark Shankar was brought back to India.

The fire accident resulted in injuries to 20 people, including 15 children.
