Nara Lokesh Lays Foundation for 100-Bed Government Hospital in Mangalagiri
Nara Lokesh, the Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, and Education in Andhra Pradesh, laid the foundation stone today for a 100-bed government hospital near Mangalagiri, at Chinakakani. The ceremonial ground-breaking and unveiling of the foundation plaque were conducted in the presence of alliance leaders. Kandula Durgesh, the Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography, also participated in the event.
Nara Lokesh shared his thoughts on the occasion through social media, stating, “The 100-bed hospital is a dream of the people of Mangalagiri that has remained unfulfilled for three decades. I had promised that this dream would be realized within a year. Today, I am honoring that promise by participating in the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the hospital.”
He further added, “I took a selfie at the foundation plaque that was installed by the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in 1984 during the foundation ceremony of the Vayvisi Cancer Hospital. Forty years ago, in Mangalagiri town, the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao laid the foundation for a 30-bed hospital. It is a moment of happiness for me to now lay the foundation for a 100-bed hospital after four decades.”
