Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s New Film Launched on Ugadi
The much-anticipated film #Mega157, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by Anil Ravipudi, was officially launched today with a grand pooja ceremony, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Ugadi. The film is produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner in collaboration with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments and is presented by Smt. Archana.
Victory Venkatesh clapped the board for the film’s muhurat shot, Allu Aravind switched on the camera, and veteran director K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. Notable producers Dil Raju and Shirish handed over the script to the film’s team. The launch event witnessed the presence of several leading personalities from the Telugu film industry, including Naga Vamsi, Vikram from UV Creations, Director Vassishta, Srikanth Odela, Bobby, Shiva Nirvana, Vamshi Paidipally, Mythri Naveen and Ravi, Shirish, Aswini Dutt, Ram Achanta, Sharrath Marar, Vijayendra Prasad, KS Rama Rao, KL Narayana, Suresh Babu, Venkata Satish Kilaru, Gemini Kiran, Chukkapalli Avinash, and Nimakayala Prasad.

His most recent release, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, grossed over ₹300 crore and was hailed as a major success. For #Mega157, Anil Ravipudi has crafted a screenplay designed to present Chiranjeevi in a fresh and dynamic avatar. Chiranjeevi will be seen playing a character named Shankar Varaprasad. The film aims to blend humor, emotion, and action, catering to audiences across age groups.
The same core technical team that contributed to the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has been retained for this project. Cinematographer Sameer Reddy will handle the visuals, while music director Bheems Ceciroleo will compose the soundtrack. Tammiraju is in charge of editing, with S Krishna and G Adi Narayana writing the script. S Krishna is also serving as the executive producer. The production design will be managed by A S Prakash, and Narendra Logisa will oversee visual effects. Naveen Garapati is the line producer, and additional dialogues are written by Ajju Mahakali and Tirumala Nag. Satyam Bellamkonda is the chief co-director, while Vamsi Shekar is the film’s PRO, with marketing handled by Haashtag Media.
