Relief for Posani as Bail Granted in CID Case

Prominent actor Posani Krishna Murali has received relief as the Guntur Court granted him bail in a case registered by the CID. The court conducted a hearing on his bail petition on Wednesday but postponed its decision to Friday. Following another hearing today, the court issued orders granting him bail.

Posani, who was held as a remand prisoner at Guntur District Jail, had filed a petition through his lawyers in the CID court seeking bail. The court had previously deferred the verdict.

Posani Krishna Murali was arrested in Hyderabad on February 26. Reports indicate that 19 cases have been registered against him in Andhra Pradesh. The complaints allege that Posani made provocative remarks inciting discord within the film industry related to awards and made inappropriate comments against Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh, leading to the filing of these cases.
