KCR Directs BRS MLAs to Expose Congress Government’s Failures
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has directed party MLAs and MLCs to counter the Congress government’s alleged misinformation regarding Telangana’s financial situation. He made these remarks while presiding over a BRS Legislature Party meeting at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. The meeting focused on strategies for the upcoming sessions of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.

During his address, KCR criticized the Congress government for accumulating significant debts while failing to fulfill its promises. He alleged that the ruling party was neglecting key welfare schemes such as Rythu Bandhu and irrigation facilities, causing hardships for farmers. KCR further stated that despite being given sufficient time, the Congress administration had failed to implement its commitments.

He urged BRS legislators to hold the government accountable during the Assembly sessions, emphasizing the need to challenge its alleged corruption and anti-people policies. KCR also instructed party members to refute what he called “false accusations” against the previous BRS government, which had been in power for a decade.

Additionally, he called for strong support of the BC and SC reservation bill, asserting that BRS must raise its voice on the issue. He also criticized the perceived decline of Gurukul schools and stressed the need to question the government on this matter. Furthermore, KCR advised party MLAs to confront the Congress on its promises regarding the “six guarantees” and to demand answers on the suspension of the Dalit Bandhu scheme during the Assembly sessions.
