"My Wish to Work with Director Shankar Has Come True": Priyadarshi
Actor Priyadarshi has shared his experience of working in the film Game Changer, directed by Shankar and starring Ram Charan. Speaking about the opportunity, Priyadarshi stated that his primary reason for accepting the role was his long-held desire to work under Shankar’s direction. He also mentioned that he was aware of the limited screen time of his role before signing the film.
Priyadarshi made these remarks during the promotions of Court: State vs A Nobody, a film produced by Nani and directed by Ram Jagadeesh. The movie features Priyadarshi alongside Shivaji, Harsh Roshan, Sridevi, Sai Kumar, Rohini, Harsha Vardhan, and others. It is set to release on March 14.
Discussing his role in Game Changer, Priyadarshi revealed that he had signed the project even before Balagam. At that time, he was primarily playing the protagonist’s friend in various films. Although he had performed in multiple scenes in Game Changer, he noted that some of them were removed during editing. He acknowledged that his role in the film was minor, but expressed joy in having had the opportunity to collaborate with Shankar, Ram Charan, and producer Dil Raju. He further shared that while he participated in the shoot for nearly 25 days, his screen presence in the final cut is only about two minutes. However, he is satisfied that he fulfilled his aspiration of working with Shankar.
Additionally, Priyadarshi spoke about his long-time dream of acting alongside Chiranjeevi. He recalled that he was initially considered for a role in Acharya, but it was later removed. He also attempted to secure roles in Bobby’s Waltair Veerayya and Meher Ramesh’s Bholaa Shankar, but those opportunities did not materialize. He is currently hoping to land a role in Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming project.
