Zenzo, an emergency response service provider, has introduced cab-style ambulance services, aiming to provide medical assistance within 15 minutes of a call. The company has deployed 25,000 ambulances across 450 cities to enhance accessibility during emergencies.

Zenzo announced collaborations with Zomato and other e-commerce firms to improve emergency response efficiency, including first aid and CPR training for their personnel. Co-founder and CEO Shweta Mangal stated that the company’s objective is to leverage digital technology to enhance emergency medical infrastructure.

As part of this initiative, Zenzo has launched a nationwide toll-free number, 1800 102 1298, to facilitate quick ambulance bookings. The company has also partnered with hospitals, local authorities, corporate entities, and private ambulance providers to strengthen healthcare infrastructure.

Zenzo plans to expand its services based on demand, covering more cities while maintaining a standardized fare structure nationwide. The pricing model includes a base fare of ₹1,500 for basic ambulances and ₹2,500 for cardiac ambulances for the first 5 kilometers. Beyond this, passengers will be charged ₹50 per kilometer for basic ambulances and ₹100 per kilometer for cardiac ambulances.
