SLBC Tunnel Search Continues: Two More Bodies Identified
Rescue operations are ongoing at the SLBC tunnel near Domalapenta in Nagar Kurnool district, where a tragic accident on February 22 led to the disappearance of eight individuals. Today marks the 17th day of the rescue mission.
After recovering the first body yesterday, the rescue team has identified two more bodies today. The first recovered body was identified as that of Gurpreet Singh, the tunnel boring machine operator. The latest two bodies were found at the same location where Gurpreet Singh's remains were discovered, and efforts are underway to retrieve them.
Progress in the rescue efforts was observed after cadaver dogs from Kerala were brought in. These specially trained dogs, belonging to the Kerala police department, are capable of detecting human remains buried up to 15 feet underground.
