Mystery Surrounds Death of NRI Techie Woman in Visakhapatnam Hotel

Visakhapatnam: An NRI woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Visakhapatnam. The deceased, identified as Roja, was working as a software professional in the United States. She had come to Visakhapatnam to meet her friend Sridhar.

According to reports, Roja had checked into a local hotel. While staying there, she went to the bathroom to take a bath but did not return. Concerned by her prolonged absence, Sridhar alerted the police.

Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner Sankha Brata Bagchi stated that although there are certain suspicions surrounding the case, a preliminary investigation has led to the registration of a case as a suicide. Meanwhile, the police have taken Roja’s friend Sridhar into custody for further questioning.
