CPI’s Ramakrishna Justifies Posani Krishna Murali’s Arrest, Criticizes Remarks on Pawan Kalyan’s Family
CPI Andhra Pradesh State Secretary Ramakrishna stated that there was nothing wrong in the arrest of prominent actor Posani Krishna Murali. He pointed out that Posani had spoken in a manner that insulted Pawan Kalyan’s wife and children. He emphasized that no one should support individuals who demean women.
Ramakrishna advised that personal attacks should be avoided in politics. He remarked that some of Posani’s past statements were disgraceful to society. He also noted that Posani is not just a film actor but also a writer and a postgraduate, making it inappropriate for a person of his stature to speak in such a derogatory manner. He asserted that such offensive remarks are unacceptable, regardless of the political party of the person making them.
He further stated that while it is acceptable to criticize Pawan Kalyan, it is completely inappropriate to make statements that insult his wife and children. He condemned the degrading remarks made by Posani and warned that supporting such individuals would be a mistake. Ramakrishna concluded that while political criticism is natural, personal attacks, especially those targeting women, are highly objectionable.
