UP MLA Spits Gutka Inside Assembly; Speaker Urges Voluntary Admission
A legislator from Uttar Pradesh has come under scrutiny for his conduct inside the state assembly. The MLA was reportedly caught chewing gutka and spitting inside the assembly hall, an act that has drawn severe criticism.

Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana noticed the incident while entering the assembly. Near the entrance, he observed signs that someone had spit after consuming gutka. Taking the matter seriously, he instructed security personnel to investigate. Following their inquiry, it was revealed that the act was committed by an MLA.

Reacting strongly, Speaker Satish Mahana called on the responsible legislator to come forward voluntarily and admit to the act. He further warned that if the individual failed to do so, he would personally disclose the MLA’s identity.

The incident has sparked widespread discussions, with a video of the act going viral on social media.
