Rishabh Pant Nominated for 'Comeback of the Year' at 2025 Laureus World Sports Awards

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has been nominated for the prestigious 2025 Laureus World Sports Award in the ‘Comeback of the Year’ category. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 21, 2025.

Pant, 27, suffered a serious car accident in December 2022, which sidelined him from cricket for an extended period. However, through determination and rigorous rehabilitation, he made a successful return to professional cricket during the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL).

Following his comeback, Pant made a strong impact, scoring a century against Bangladesh in his first international match after the accident. He is set to represent Lucknow Super Giants in the upcoming IPL season.
