High Court Rejects Vallabhaneni Vamsi's Anticipatory Bail Petition

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has delivered an unexpected setback to former Gannavaram MLA and YSR Congress Party leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi. The court dismissed his anticipatory bail petition related to the attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office in Gannavaram.

Vamsi had approached the High Court seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with the case, but after hearing the arguments, the court rejected his plea.

It is noteworthy that Vallabhaneni Vamsi was previously arrested by the police in a separate case involving the alleged kidnapping and intimidation of a Dalit youth, Satyavardhan. He is currently lodged in Vijayawada district jail.
