Minister Kollu Ravindra Releases Footage of Satyavardhan's Kidnapping
Andhra Pradesh Minister Kollu Ravindra has released CCTV footage related to the kidnapping of Dalit youth Satyavardhan, a case in which former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi was recently arrested. The incident has triggered a heated political exchange between leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP). Today, YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly criticized the arrest, claiming it was unjust.
In response, Kollu Ravindra made public the CCTV footage that allegedly shows Satyavardhan being kidnapped and taken to Hyderabad. The minister released visuals recorded on February 11 at My Home Bhujia Apartments in Hyderabad, where Vallabhaneni Vamsi resides.
Speaking on the occasion, Kollu Ravindra stated, “If factionalism from Pulivendula is extended across the state, we will not remain silent. We will not tolerate any attempts to incite violence in the peaceful Krishna district.” He further claimed that the CCTV footage serves as clear evidence of how Satyavardhan was abducted.
