Nandigam Suresh Granted Bail by Sattenapalli Court
Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Member of Parliament Nandigam Suresh has been granted bail by the Sattenapalli Civil Court. The case was filed against him in February 2020, alleging inappropriate behavior towards women participating in the Amaravati protests.
The complaint was lodged by a woman named Mahalaxmi from Amaravati, leading to cases being registered against Nandigam Suresh, Lella Appireddy, and several others. However, no arrests were made at the time.
Following the formation of the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, multiple cases have been registered against Nandigam Suresh. Recently, he was released on bail in connection with the Mariyamma murder case. Fearing arrest in this case as well, he approached the court for anticipatory bail.
This afternoon, Nandigam Suresh surrendered before the court, and his legal team filed an anticipatory bail petition. After reviewing the petition, the court granted him bail. Citing health reasons, he had been undergoing medical treatment, and now he has secured bail in this case as well.
