Brain-Dead Doctor’s Family Donates Organs, Giving Life to Five
Dr. Nangi Bhumika was working at a private hospital in LB Nagar when she met with a severe road accident in Narsingi. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors provided treatment. However, despite their efforts, she was declared brain dead.
With the assistance of Jeevan Daan Trust, her family made the decision to donate her organs. As part of this noble gesture, her liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs were successfully transplanted to five patients in need. Even in their profound grief, her family demonstrated exceptional generosity by choosing organ donation.
Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Managing Director V.C. Sajjanar expressed his gratitude towards Dr. Nangi Bhumika’s family for their selfless act. He praised their decision and extended his respects through a tweet, saluting them for their humanitarian gesture.
