Allu Aravind Denies Seeking Ticket Price Hike in Telangana for Thandel

Producer Allu Aravind has clarified that no request was made to the Telangana government to increase ticket prices for the film Thandel. The film, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is set to release on February 7. Produced under the Geetha Arts banner, the film has Bunny Vasu as the producer, with Allu Aravind presenting it.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday ahead of the film's release, Allu Aravind stated that a request to increase ticket prices was made only in Andhra Pradesh due to lower ticket rates in the state. He mentioned that the request sought a price hike of just ₹50 per ticket in Andhra Pradesh. However, in Telangana, where ticket prices are already ₹295 and ₹395, no such request was made to the government.
